Carole Hochman
Chief Executive Officer, Chief Creative Officer and Chairwoman

Carole Hochman is a renowned designer and sleepwear pioneer. She is considered one of the single most influential women in the intimate apparel and sleepwear business in the United States. She has been creating intimate apparel for more than 30 years and was the driving force behind the Carole Hochman Design Group, for which she served as Chief Creative Officer until her departure in 2013 and for which she was previously CEO until its acquisition by the Komar in 2010. Under Carole’s leadership, Carole Hochman Design Group manufactured Carole Hochman brand of sleepwear, loungewear and daywear, plus numerous other sleepwear collections including Christian Dior, Oscar de la Renta, Ralph Lauren, Jockey, Donna Karan, Tommy Bahama and Betsey Johnson. Carole is an expert in translating brand identity into intimate apparel and has an innate ability to identify opportunities and trends and forecast successful endeavors that the rest of the industry quickly follows. She was one of the first designers to embrace the concept of QVC, recognizing the power of the home shopper, a customer who has proved loyal to her from the start.

PRESIDENT AND FOUNDER

Joel is the founder and creative visionary behind Naked. Inspired by his exposure to performance apparel during his athletic career and luxurious fabrics while traveling South America, Joel sought to create Naked. His vision was to create an innovative apparel brand that would combine performance and luxury to redefine the way clothing worn close to the skin fits, feels and functions. In the promotion of Naked, Joel has appeared on CBC’s Dragons' Den three times in addition to Entertainment Tonight Canada, eTalk in Canada, Urban Rush, Shaw TV's The Express and The Fanny Kiefer Show. Joel was recently selected as one of BC Business' Top 30 Under 30 entrepreneurs and has funded the creation of multiple computer labs in Ghana through his charity, Project World Citizen.

KEN LIN
VICE PRESIDENT OF FINANCE

Mr. Lin has been an employee of Naked since February 2016. From March 2014 to February 2016, Mr. Lin was Corporate Controller for HVS Global Hospitality Services, a leading consulting and services organization focused on the hotel, mixed-use, share ownership, gaming and leisure industries. From June, 1991 to February, 2014, Mr. Lin was Corporate Controller for The Good Stuff Company, LLC, a distributor and manufacturer of licensed toys and novelties, and a nationwide toy crane service operator with more than 200 employees nationwide. Mr. Lin holds a BBA in Accounting from the Fu-Jen Catholic University in Taipei, Taiwan, and an MBA in Computer Information Systems from Baruch College, CUNY, New York.

Pat Larkin
VICE PRESIDENT SALES

Pat has spent over thirty years in the Intimate Apparel Industry. In early 1990’s, she was the National Sales Manager for I. Appel Corporation in sleepwear. She then became Vice President of Sales for the launch of Karen Neuburger and then Vice President of International Sales for Richard Leeds. Her extensive sales relationships include high end and mid-tier department stores, as well as specialty and off-price stores and private label channels throughout the United States.

 

Rocco Damiano
National Sales Manager

Rocco has more than 25 years of sales and marketing management experience in lingerie, daywear, shapewear, and intimate apparel for both domestic and international brands including Karen Neuburger and Eber Interntaional. Most recently, he was the USA Manager for the iconic British Legwear brand Pretty Polly.

 

Jenn Gossweiler
In House Account Manager

Jen began her career in 2000 as the assistant women’s accessories and sleepwear buyer at Ralph Lauren. In 2003 she was the assistant buyer at PVH Corp in Women’s Sportswear. Jenn then worked at the Carole Hochman Design group for 10 years climbing from an Account Executive to Senior Analyst to Specialty Store Sales Manger.

 

Iris Arenson
IN HOUSE ACCOUNT MANAGER - Northeast Region

Iris began her career in the Intimate Apparel Industry at Eve Stillman N.Y in 1979 after graduating with a BBA from Baruch College, CUNY New York.  From 1986 to 2016, she worked exclusively for Carole Hochman Design Group / CHDG: A Komar Company. She has developed a strong reputation for her commitment to sales and excellence in customer service. During her 29 years at CHDG, Iris has created strong relationships with specialty stores as well as major stores while also developing niche market opportunities.

 

Sara Belon
IN HOUSE ACCOUNT MANAGER - NORTHEAST REGION

Sara started her career working for BareNecessities.com in merchandising and marketing. She then became an independent sales representative for brands such as Le Mystere, Maison Lejaby, Fine Lines, Splendid Intimates, UnderElla by Ella Moss, Coconut Grove, Jenna Leigh Lingerie, Affinitas & Parfait, Body Wrap and Curvy Kate. She has a specialized background in sales development, marketing and product merchandising

David Hochman
Director

David Hochman brings over 18 years of venture capital and investment banking experience to Naked’s board. He is currently Managing Partner of Orchestra Medical Ventures, a medical technology investment firm. David has led financing transactions for over 30 early-stage companies, securing over $600 million in equity capital. David is also a Director of Corbus Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (OTCQB: CRBP) as well as several privately held companies. David also currently serves as a board member of two non-profit organizations: the Citizens Committee for New York City and the Mollie Parnis Livingston Foundation. He is the son of Naked’s CEO, Carole Hochman and developed an early passion for intimate apparel growing up around the family business (Carole Hochman Design Group), which was originally founded by his grandparents in the 1920s.

JESSE COLE
accomplished Financier and CEO of Haute Hippie

Jesse Cole is a born and bred New Yorker. He grew up in Manhattan, attending the prestigious Trinity School and New York Military Academy at West Point, before earning his Bachelor of Science from Cornell University and his Masters of Science from Columbia University.

After graduate school, Jesse joined ISI Group, the number one ranked
"think-tank," where he worked under renowned economist Ed Hyman. He then
moved to Pali Capital before starting his own Financial services company,
Schonfeld IBS. His business grew into a multi-million-dollar company, and
this success followed him to Merlin Institutional, where he created and
managed their trading department as a senior partner. Merlin Institutional
was sold to Wells Fargo in 2012 after much success, and Jesse then joined
Haute Hippie as the newly-appointed CEO. Jesse brings to Haute Hippie the
strong Financial background necessary to ensure company growth, foster new
business development, attract and retain top tier talent, and expand Haute
Hippie to an international lifestyle brand. As Chairman of the Board of
Associates and most recently Member of the Board of Directors for Ronald
McDonald House, he will also continue his steadfast commitment to
philanthropy. Jesse was recently inducted into the Young Presidents
Organization and sits on the board of directors for Goodlife Clothing.

ANDREW KAPLAN
DIRECTOR

Andrew J. Kaplan is a Vice President of Barry Kaplan Associates. This 32-year-old investor relations firm works with small- and medium- sized public and private companies. He has been with the firm since 1995. Prior to this, he has been with major investment firms and a boutique investment bank specializing in the financing of companies going public through IPOs or reverse mergers. Andrew received his BSBA in Finance and Insurance from the University of Hartford in 1989. He lives in Marlboro, New Jersey with his wife, Hilary, and their three children.

MARTHA OLSON
DIRECTOR

Ms. Olson has a proven track record over her 30 year career of growing global, iconic brands such as Calvin Klein Underwear and Ralph Lauren Intimates while delivering superior shareholder returns. As a Warnaco Corporate Officer and the Group President of Calvin Klein Underwear Global and the Heritage Brands (Speedo, Chaps and Core Intimates Divisions), the businesses she had responsibility for grew to $1.4B and contributed 70% of Warnaco’s Operating Income. Calvin Klein Underwear revenue grew at an annualized compound rate of 8%.  She has strong global expertise in general management, operations, commercial execution and marketing across a wide range of industries.

Paul hAyes
DIRECTOR

Mr. Hayes, a certified public accountant, led the commercial finance and accounting team for the $500 million Calvin Klein brand business in Europe in his capacity as Chief  Financial  Officer  for  the  Europe  region  of  The  Warnaco  Group,  which  was  acquired in 2013 by PVH Corporation. He has extensive global experience managing and driving growth in a wide range of industries, particularly in the intimate apparel and sleepwear categories through his tenure at Calvin Klein.  He has also held senior positions  at  international  powerhouses  Nokia  Corporation  and  Deloitte  &  Touche  LLP. Currently Mr. Hayes serves as the Vice President Finance for Parfums de Coeur, a fragrance and bath products concern.

Prior to forming Case Study, she spent 15 years as Creative Director at Carole Hochman Design Group, where she created enduring and memorable brand identities for over 26 top-100 fashion brands including Nicole Miller, Donna Karan, Oscar de la Renta, Betsy Johnson, Jockey, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Bahama and Nine West, to name a few. She developed new brand identities for OnGossamer, St. Eve, Jane & Bleecker, Stan Herman, Cottonista, Perfection, Midnight by Carole Hochman, and Carole Hochman. Managing a stable of brands, Sara has designed and launched e-commerce websites, developed e-campaigns and authored blogs; she has created all aspects of packaging design and she has led big-box programs for Costco US and International, Sam’s Club, BJ’s Wholesale Club and QVC to brand divisions for national department stores. She has maintained sourcing, pricing, delivery schedules and standards on all packaging elements.
