Naked Brand Group as it exists today was created on June 20, 2018 via the merger of Nasdaq listed Naked Brand Group Inc and 72-year-old New Zealand company Bendon Limited. Bendon was founded in New Zealand in1947, by Ray Hurley. The company revolutionised the lingerie industry with a radical approach to design. Rather than force women's bodies into the restrictive corsetry of the time, he looked at the way women moved and pioneered lingerie that would 'bend on' their bodies.
